    Value Deep Cleaning

    The Value Deep Cleaning Checklist is great for customers not ready to commit to our Top to Bottom Deluxe Deep Clean. This service is great for homes that received a deep cleaning within the past 4 months. The Value Deep Cleaning excludes some items that come with the Deluxe Deep Cleaning (and are listed below).

    • Ceiling fan blades dusted, not washed (within 2-step ladder reach, hand-washed or wiped)
    • Light fixtures dusted (not washed) - reachable within 2-step ladder reach, washed in place/not removed
    • Switch plates dusted
    • Blinds & Shutters vacuumed (wiped/ vacuumed, not washed)

    • Doors and door frames are spot cleaned, not fully washed
    • Hand-washing of some items
    • Carpet edges vacuumed
    • Baseboards are not hand-washed, they are lightly dusted
    • Furniture (wiped, fronts, sides)
    • Cabinet fronts are not hand washed
    • Lampshades vacuumed or dusted


    Setting your Expectations

    • Extensions

      Items to be washed must be reachable with a 2-step ladder, otherwise a dusting extension will be used. We do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted with an extension duster. Most homes have at least one chandelier or vaulted ceiling fan that we cannot reach by hand.

    • Windows and Blinds

      We clean both sides of double-hung windows (windows that easily open indoors). If we cannot open a window or if it is blocked by a screen protector, we cannot clean the outside. We clean the windows in place and do not remove any screen protectors from the window. For extensive window cleaning or for hard to reach windows, we recommend that clients book a window cleaning company. Windows must be accessible prior to the technician arriving.


      Blinds are dusted and/or vacuumed in place. We do not wash or remove blinds. For deep cleaning of blinds, a blind cleaning company that has an electrostatic blind-cleaner or similar would be the best option.

    • Tidying Up

      Please note that our cleaning service does not include tidying up and making beds unless it has been added to your work order. If you would like to add on this service, please email us for a quote. We send all clients a document to sign which details how to prepare your home for a cleaning.

    • Furniture Moving

      We clean items in place to reduce risk of breakage. We do not move furniture, however if you want underneath the furniture cleaned, you may leave it moved prior to the appointment so our cleaning technicians can clean under it. We try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.

    • Trash

      Trash cans are to be made available and accessible on site. Our cleaning technicians remove trash from your home and re-line the trash bins. Our technicians are not able to take trash off site with them. If your trash bins are not accesssible on site, trash may not be removed from the property.

    • Inside Cabinets, Shelves, Drawers

      Cleaning inside of the cabients, shelves, and drawers is not included with the Deep Cleaning Services. 

    • Knick Knacks

      To ensure thorough cleaning, kindly remove all knick-knacks and tchotchkes from your shelves. Cleaning of these items cannot be guaranteed if the shelves are not cleared beforehand.

    • Cleaning Products

      All cleaning supplies will be provided by Life Maid Easy unless the client notes otherwise. Clients must provide their own toilet brushes in each toilet (to prevent cross-contamination), trash bags, and 1 roll of paper towels (to also prevent cross-contamination).

    • Extensive Cleaning

      Please note that virtual quotes are approximate. If your home requires additional cleaning, our cleaning technicians will let us know and we will contact you to determine any additional cost.

    • First-Time Cleaning

      We recommend that each client, regardless of their previous cleaning service, starts with one of our Deep Cleaning options (Option #2 Top to Bottom Deluxe Deep Cleaning or Option #3 Top to Bottom Value Deep Cleaning. We have seen time and time again that our customers are most satisfied with the results if they start our program with these options and we then maintain the level of cleanliness with our Maintenance Cleaning options. 


      If you start with our Maintenance Cleaning, we may not have the time to complete all of the items and you may not be as satisfied with the initial result. We may have multiple cleanings to get your home to a maintainable state of cleanliness.

    • Customer Satisfaction

      Please allow for some dust resettlement after we leave, we try to limit the dust in the air but cannot prevent this entirely. Our housekeeping professionals in Philadelphia are highly trained to perform to high standards of cleanliness in a systemized top to bottom, left to right approach. If you are not satisfied with the job, please let us know within 24 hours by emailing us dated photos at info@lifemaideasy.net along with the description of what was missed. Please note that we do not offer refunds but we do work with our customers to make sure everything in scope has been completed.

    • Payment

      • We use a secure payment system. Your credit card on file will be automatically charged for the service.
      • Initial payment for the first appointment is due upfront.
      • Life Maid Easy charges a 5% late fee.
      • By agreeing to receive our services, you agree to the Client Success and Unfair Solicitation Agreement (Adobe document in your email).
      • Life Maid Easy does not offer refunds, but we are willing to work with you if any issues come up.
