We offer these add-on services with our move-in and move-out cleaning services in Philadelphia and neighboring communities. Please let the office staff know which services you prefer to add to your appointment, and they will set you up!
Items to be washed must be reachable with a 2-step ladder, otherwise a dusting extension will be used. We do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted with an extension duster. Most homes have at least one chandelier or vaulted ceiling fan that we cannot reach by hand.
Please note that virtual quotes are approximate. If your home requires additional cleaning, our cleaning technicians will let us know and we will contact you to determine any additional costs.
This quote is for a “broom-swept” home meaning that there are no belongings and no furniture in the property during services. The home is empty and needs move-in or move-out cleaning services. Our Philadelphia team serves customers throughout the area.
To ensure the safety of our crew and/of your property, we do not move appliances to clean underneath them to prevent breakage. Appliances may be moved by the home owner prior to the appointment if they wish to have the floor underneath cleaned.
We clean both sides of double-hung windows (windows that easily open indoors). If we cannot open a window or if it is blocked by a screen protector, we cannot clean the outside. We clean the windows in place and do not remove any screen protectors from the window. For extensive window cleaning or for hard to reach windows, we recommend that clients book a window cleaning company.
Blinds are dusted and/or vacuumed in place. We do not wash or remove blinds. For deep cleaning of blinds, a blind cleaning company that has an electrostatic blind-cleaner or similar would be the best option.
We do not move furniture and do not include furniture removal as part of our turnover cleaning service. Our quote is for “broom-swept” turnovers, where trash and furniture has been removed from the unit prior to the cleaning. We remove the trash that we accumulate as part of our cleaning. Please make sure to remove all trash from the unit prior to the cleaning.
All cleaning supplies will be provided by Life Maid Easy unless the client notes otherwise. Clients must provide their own toilet brushes in each toilet (to prevent cross-contamination), trash bags, and 1 roll of paper towels (to also prevent cross-contamination).
Please allow for some dust resettlement after we leave, we try to limit the dust in the air but cannot prevent this entirely. Our cleaning technicians are highly trained to perform to high standards of cleanliness in a systemized top to bottom, left to right approach. If you are not satisfied with the job, please let us know within 24 hours by emailing us dated photos at info@lifemaideasy.net along with the description of what was missed. Please note that we do not offer refunds but we do work with our customers to make sure everything in scope has been completed.
